Bennamann wins prestigious innovation award

Burke Innovation Trophy

We are delighted to announce that Bennamann has won the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) Burke Innovation Trophy 2026!

Presented this year at the Devon County Show by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh, the award celebrates outstanding agricultural machinery and technological advancement.

The judges recognised Bennamann’s innovative on-farm biomethane upgrader and gas refuelling system – “technology helping farmers improve efficiency while responding to increasing economic and environmental pressures across the agricultural sector.”

The CAPCH4® fuel system upgrades biogas from organic waste and agricultural residues into vehicle‑grade biomethane (Bio‑CNG) – a low‑carbon, renewable fuel for gas‑powered plant machinery and heavy vehicles.

Designed for AD operators and fleet managers, the system provides a route out of volatile fossil fuel markets and towards genuine energy independence. Paired with the 100% methanepowered tractors from Bennamann’s majority shareholder CNH (New Holland) it delivers a fully sustainable, selfsufficient energy model for the future.
